λιγα λογια για την ομιλητρια:

Louise Coigley (RCSLT Cert) is a UK Independent Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) began the Lis'n Tell: live inclusive storytelling approach to SLT over twenty years ago.
She was a volunteer co-worker and SLT in Camphill Communities for eleven years, living and working with children and adults with Special Educational Needs and Autism. Louise became hugely inspired by the work of SLPs working in mobile units in Greece, and first made contact.
For many years, Louise also worked in schools and clinics with children and teenagers with moderate to severe hearing impairment, learning disabilities, developmental language disorders, phonological difficulties, emotional behavioural challenges and autism. She is an experienced trainer in the UK, Germany, Greece, Malta, Canada, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
She has presented Lis’n Tell at numerous conferences including the National Conference of Speech Pathology Australia in Sydney and presented her evaluative Lis'n Tell research, conducted with Brighton Sussex Medical School, at the London SLT Autism Special Interest Group. She taught Lis’n Tell for ten years on the postgraduate Speech Pathology and Therapy training at Greenwich Medway University. Since 2012, Louise has contributed to Stage 3 of Gina Davies’s Attention Autism Programme. Lis'n Tell is used in settings including: ICAN Meath School for children with SLCN, Loddon School for Autistic Children, Treloar's College for Students with Complex Physical Needs, Beacon Hill Academy for Students with Severe Complex Learning Difficulties and Brent NHS Paediatric SLT Team, integrating children into Mainstream Education .
Part of Louise’s response to Covid Lockdown 2020 was to start 'Fly A Hug' : (https://vimeo.com/405589052).This inspired and supported children and adults with and without special needs to stay meaningfully in touch.
Her invited chapter on Lis’n Tell in ‘Special Needs and Disabilities
Practical Approaches for Children and Adults’ edited by Dr Nicola Grove, was published in December 2021.( 300 words)
